Community Service & Industry Affiliations
Friedman Tubular Team Members are encouraged to become involved with industry and community organizations, both on a local and a national level. Support and engagement with these societies is essential in fostering a culture of learning and of service to others either through direct participation or indirect financial assistance.

American Petroleum Institute
The American Petroleum Institute is the primary trade association representing the oil and natural gas industry in the United States
Committee on Pipe and Tube Imports
CPTI is a Washington, D.C.-based trade association representing U.S. manufacturers of steel pipe, tube, and fittings, advocating for fair trade policies and enforcement against dumped or subsidized imports.
Rocky Mountain Pipeliners Club
RMPC promotes the advancement of the oil and natural gas industry in all aspects of pipeline engineering, construction and operation in the Rocky Mountain Region. At the core of the RMPC are the community outreach programs and charity events held throughout the year to fund scholarships for education in science, technology, and engineering, as well as providing financial support to the US Veteran Community.
National Association of Steel Pipe Distributors
With a focus on Integrity, Dedication and Education, NASPD exists to provide a participative environment and forum for networking, industry communication, and to promote the steel pipe and tube community.
National Association of Pipe Coating Applicators
NAPCA is committed to promoting the growth of its industry and to provide its members, their customers and the international public with the high standards of quality and workmanship necessary to protect the world’s pipeline infrastructure.
